Happy 4th of July!
We went to Tahoe for the 4th of July. The weather was so nice, but the water was cold. The boys didn't seem to mind. They played out in the sun all day. We were just glad that were weren't at home in the Sacramento heat. We heard it was 107 degree the days we were gone.
We had a good time. Austin loved camping and sleeping in a tent. He had fun with Papa Rocky and grandma Alisa. We ate lots of yummy food, thanks to grandma Alisa!!! There was a lot of us up there. Danee had invited church friends and family. We pretty much took up the whole loop. The last night we were there a bear came through camp. He didn't bother us but the next morning we found out that he helped himself to some of our friends chips. They had left their bear locker open because they kept getting in and out of it. They were hanging out at the Davis' campsite and hear something so they flashed their flashlights over there and there was a bear standing on his back legs getting a bag of chips. We told Austin about the bear and he said " the bear said please for the chips" We had to tell him, "no the bear just took them with out asking please". Austin had so much fun and he was covered in dirt the whole time. Let the boys be boys!
